"Diet" food definitely doesn’t have to be boring or expensive. This is 1 #egg (eggs are a great inexpensive protein source), 2 slices of nitrate-free turkey bacon from #TraderJoes, sautéed #kale from @wholefoodsmarket as well as #Ezekiel bread from Whole Foods too.

Zoom One gift I give to myself is nourishing my body the best I can. I am a firm believer that the body can and will take good care of staying healthy or healing itself with proper nutrition. 

I do NOT believe in drugs, surgeries or other things that western medicine offers to treat symptoms. More often than not, these “solutions” are just band-aids on the real problems, which is our lifestyle & bad habits. 

#Shakeology every day is one thing I do, plus eat real, whole foods. Exercise is also extremely important & we all need to find ways to do something every day, no matter how busy we are. 

If you have time to go to the western doctors & to the pharmacy to get meds, you have time to eat healthy & exercise.

Zoom I picked myself up a #GeorgeForeman grill the other day at Goodwill & have been excited to try out lots of different ways to use it. 

Today, I put chicken breasts into a few differ  bags of marinade. This one I made tonight was UNBELIEVEABLE!!! Soooo yummy!!! I wanted to otherwise keep it simple so just made some broccoli to go with it. 

Here’s the marinade I used:
1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil, 
1/4 cup soy sauce, 
freshly squeezed juice of two limes, 
3 cloves of garlic, pressed, 
1/2 tsp sea salt, 
1/2 tsp fresh black pepper, 
1/2-1 tsp Franks Red Hot sauce, 1 1/2 tbsp natural brown sugar

I used 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts pounded out & let it marinade for a few hours. Then preheated the George Foreman grill & grilled them until done. Definitely good stuff!

Eating healthy does NOT have to be bland or boring & also doesn’t have to take a ton of time either. It’s important to eat REAL FOOD that your body knows what to do with. Take good care of your body & odds are it’ll take good care of you. ❤️
